  • Purpose and Mission

The duty of our Student Affairs Directorate is to convey the correct information to our students, parents, academic and administrative staff, especially our students, in accordance with the legislation in force, to direct them to the right units and to carry out the work and transactions in accordance with the legislation in a timely manner in accordance with the academic calendar.

All kinds of information and documents that our students need during the year are prepared and delivered to them in the fastest way possible from the moment they apply.

In order for our students to continue their education life in a healthy way, they should carefully follow all the announcements and the academic calendar of our University, which are notified to them from our University's web page, smartphone application, social media pages, e-mail or information boards on campus. In addition, in order to avoid problems in communicating with our students, it is important that they update their contact information as soon as possible from the student affairs office in case of any changes in their contact information.

 

  • Student Mail System

All students enrolled in our university are required to define an up-to-date e-mail address via OBS. In all notifications to be made by our Directorate via e-mail, notifications will be sent to the e-mail addresses that our students actively use.

 

  • Student ID Card

Student ID cards are given to all students who enroll in our university. Our students will use these cards to enter and exit the campus. If our students lose their ID cards or want to renew them, they can apply to the Student Affairs Office and get a new one.

 

  • Military Service Deferment Procedures

The military service status inquiries of male students who are eligible to enroll in our university are made online and their registrations are received. The enrolled male students' student status is viewed online by the relevant military branch and military deferment procedures are carried out. However, since there may be branches that do not perform military deferment online, our students who come to roll call must inquire to the military branch to which they are affiliated about how the deferment process is carried out. As long as their education continues, it is based on the end of the age of 29. Students' graduation, dismissal, transfer, etc. are also notified to the relevant military branch online.

 

  • General Service Information:

In accordance with Article 31 of the Decree Law on the Administrative Organization of Higher Education Institutions and Higher Education Institutions

1. To do the necessary work related to the new registration, admission and course status of the students,

2. To carry out graduation, identity, scholarship, and monitoring of graduates,

3. To fulfill other similar duties to be assigned.

 

  • Scope of Service:

- Carrying out university admission procedures,

- Creating and archiving student files,

- Conducting registration renewal and course registration procedures,

- Realization of deregistration, dismissal and registration freeze procedures,

- Carrying out internal and external transfer procedures,

- Execution of Double Major and Minor procedures,

- Preparation of Student Certificate, Transcript and Student Status Certificate,

- Identification and announcement of Honor and High Honor students,

- Realization of student ID card transactions,

- Execution of Summer School procedures,

- Preparation of Academic Calendar,

- Announcement of the information requested for the postponement of military service for male students,

- Execution of graduation and diploma procedures,

- Preparation of information and statistics requested from institutions such as YÖK, ÖSYM, KYK etc.
