Director: Ankara Social Sciences University Northern Cyprus-Continuing/Lifelong  Education Center (ASBÜ-SEM) is a unit of Ankara Social Sciences University Northern Cyprus (ASBÜ-KK), which has been active since 2020, based on a lifelong learning approach. Its main purpose is to meet the training needs of all individuals who want it with the human resources of public and private sector institutions and organizations at national and international levels.

ASBU-SEM's Program’s and Activities

ASBU-SEM organizes various training programs, courses, workshops, seminars, certificate programs and conferences to achieve this goal. These are training events that everyone can attend, as well as training programs that are required by external institutions and organizations and specially designed for them. Training durations can vary from 2-3 hours to 400-500 hours, depending on the content of the training to be given.

Main Principles of ASBU-SEM

ASBU-SEM attaches importance to quality and ethics in meeting the individual and vocational training needs of both external institutions and organizations' human resources and ASBU Northern Cyprus's own employees, and in all activities it organizes. In all the trainings and activities it organizes, academic staff of ASBU Northern Cyprus are experts in their fields. Our center provides trainers or consultancy in seminars/courses/certificate programs and workshops, as well as training trainers, in technological or scientific updates, with trainers who are branded in education in international fields and who are experts in their fields, taking into account today's conditions. Thus, many of our trainers working in different fields convey their knowledge to the participants through the international trainings they have obtained both in their own unit within ASBU Northern Cyprus and through our center. In cases where the trainer is not in ASBU Northern Cyprus, it works with trainers who are experts in their fields and have strong training experience in this field.
