General Information About the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus
Capital: The capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is Nicosia, which is also the largest city in the country.
Official Language: The official language of the state of Northern Cyprus is Turkish. English is also widely spoken in the country.
Population: The population of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus consists of 326 thousand people according to 2017 data.
Currency: The official currency of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is Turkish Lira. However, the British Pound is also frequently used in the country.
Type of Administration: The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is governed by the republican regime.
Ankara Social Sciences University Northern Cyprus Campus
The Northern Cyprus Campus of our university, which aims to become a brand in the world in the field of social sciences, provides education in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Turkey Higher Education Council (YÖK), depending on our central campus in Ankara. Its diploma has the same validity as the diploma awarded in Turkey and recognized all over the world.
ASBU-TRNC aims to provide world-class, quality education in Northern Cyprus with its experienced Turkish and foreign teachers and the strong administrative and academic support of its Ankara central campus.
The main goal of our campus is to produce objective and original information by making use of this information instead of transferring the information produced in the world with small contributions. To produce original solutions to the problems in different fields in the world; is to train well-equipped and competent experts to ensure this.
Facilities of the University
Our campus, which is located in a large and spacious environment between Ercan Airport and Nicosia, has a large number of student societies, a decent library, canteen, free shuttle services to Nicosia every hour, social and cultural events, frequent conferences, panels, symposiums, etc. It has an environment where students can have a pleasant time with its academic activities.
Our campus is in a distinguished position in the field of social sciences with its 19 student clubs, competent teaching staff and the advantage of being a university of the Republic of Turkey. Panels, symposiums, conferences, workshops, etc., held on the campus with the participation of distinguished scientists from Turkey, Northern Cyprus and other countries who are experts in their fields. many academic activities are carried out. In addition to their education, our students are provided with additional knowledge and experience with these activities that they can participate in.

NOTE: Annual tuition fees for ASBU NORTH CYPRUS CAMPUS (ASBU/TRNC) undergraduate programs do not include the annual registration fee. 2023/2024 annual registration fee for related programs is 5000 TL. International student candidates other than Turkish Republic and TRNC citizens can apply to ASBU NORTH CYPRUS CAMPUS (ASBU/TRNC) undergraduate programs. Compulsory preparatory class is applied in undergraduate programs that teach partially or completely in a foreign language and in undergraduate programs that provide education entirely in Turkish. Preparatory Class (Turkish, English, Arabic) students are obliged to pay the annual tuition and registration fee of the program they are registered to. The maximum duration of the compulsory preparatory class is two years. |

Applications
International students who will apply to our university will be sent to ncinternational@asbu.edu.tr with the required documents between 1 July and 31 August 2023.
Documents Required For Registration
International students who are entitled to enroll in ASBU Northern Cyprus programs, together with the acceptance letters to be sent to them, between September 4 2023 - September 23 2023, together with the documents required for registration and the tuition payment invoice, which is located at our campus, Haspolat Junction Yani No:20 Nicosia / They are required to personally come to the Student Affairs Office at the TRNC address and complete their registration.
